This is a remarkable midcentury floating bench designed by Swiss Architect Willy Guhl. Switzerland, circa 1960. Willy Guhl was well known for its minimal designs which is clearly visible in the design of this bench. The green seat is made of reinforced fiberglass and it has a steel tubular frame. Incredible patina to both seat and frame which are both in fully original condition. Wear as shown on the detailed pictures. A stunning piece of Swiss design with gentle lines and strong presence becaue of the patina it got over the years. The patina can be cleaned with high water pressure if wanted.
