Highly refined modern credenza designed by William Watting and manufactured by Fristho Franeker, Holland 1956. This quality credenza has 4 folding doors on the left and right with a shelve behind and in the middle there are 4 drawers. Its made of partial solid walnut wood and veneer. This credenza has brass legs in with nice patina, can be polished shiny if wanted. Signed with the metal William Watting design tag on the inside left. Some minor marks on the top that are normal for a cabinet this age. Overall condition is really amazing and the cabinet has a nice patina from age. William Watting was an important Danish designed who was attracted by Fristho in the 1950s to do some designs for them. These series was one of the most important he did for Fristho, the design could be applied into a formula to create different sized cabinets with the same appearance. If wanted the cabinet can be refinished into perfect condition in our own atelier.
