Very nice small and unusual high credenza designed by William Watting and and manufactured by Fristho Modernord, Holland 1956. This quality credenza has 2 folding doors on the left and right with a shelve behind and in the middle there are 4 drawers. Its made of partial solid walnut wood and veneer. This credenza has tall brass legs in with nice patina, can be polished completely shiny if wanted. Signed with the metal William Watting design tag on the inside left. Overall condition is really amazing because its fully refinished in our own atelier. William Watting was an important Danish designer who was assigned to work for Fristho in the 1950s to do some designs for them. These series was one of the most important ones he did for Fristho, the design could be applied into a formula to create different sized cabinets with the same appearance. This small high one is very unusual and I have never seen it before, the high legs make this cabinet very elegant.
Fully refinished in our own atelier with high quality UV protection lacquer with preservation of authenticity. Also completely structural checked and ready to use.
