Vittorio Dassi cabinet in rosewood Italy 1950

Item description

Fantastic shaped drawer cabinet designed by Vittorio Dass and produced by Dassi, Italy 1950. Vittorio Dassi worked very closely with Gio Ponti and also manufactured some furniture for Ponti before he started completely for himsel. You can see that he was tought well, some of his designs could almost be designed by Ponti. This very nice shaped sideboard is made of rosewood veneer with black ebonized parts. The black metal legs have brass adjustable feet. Very nice credenza with 4 drawers and a folding door for storage below. The credenza is in good original condition, one professional repair on the right corner and some small ones at the edges. But overall in very nice condition.
