The ‘Triclinio’ chandelier, designed by Vico Magistretti and manufactured by Artemide in Italy in 1967, stands as a truly impressive piece, representing the largest version of its model. This design evolved from the earlier ‘Clinio’ lamp, introduced by Magistretti in 1961, and later expanded into a modular series in 1967, which includes the Triclinio, Pentaclinio, and the seven-shaded Eptaclinio.

This specific example of the Triclinio is the largest version, featuring three shades, each with a 50 cm diameter, made from white opaline glass. These shades surround a large central globe that houses the bulb. The shades are supported by a nickel-plated metal fixture, ingeniously designed to ensure proper hanging and stability. The chandelier utilizes three E27 bulbs, each with a capacity of up to 100 watts.

The lamp is in fantastic original condition, with no damage to the glass and a beautiful patina on the nickel-plated structure. This chandelier is an iconic piece, notable for its rarity due to limited production at the time. A pair of these chandeliers is available, though they are priced and sold individually.

This lamp is checked in our own atelier, cleaned and is also suitable for use in the USA. For US usage we could change the plug, or you can get a converter if needed for a floor or table lamp with transformer in it. Customization of height is available for an additional fee. Feel free to inquire for options.
