Rare large paper bag vase designed by Tapio Wirkkala and manufactured by Rosenthal, Germany 1977. This vase is made of porcelain (stoneware) and looks like a paper bag. The vase is made in the pop art period and its very decorative especially in this size. This large one was normally not for sale, this was the one that was used for display and promotional purposes so only a few were made. Vase is in excellent condition and marked with the Rosenthal mark at the bottom. We also have a set of 4 smaller ones available in our other listings, have a look as they look fantastic together.
