An extremely rare, oversized ceiling pendant model 622 designed and manufactured by Stilnovo, Italy 1959. This large sized tear drop shaped pendant lamp is very impressive because of its size. The lamp has a large white soft milk glass diffiuser shade, covered with an aluminium shade in orange enamel finish. Because it is half opaline and half covered, it gives a nice light effect when lit. The shade has a nice perforation pattern in the shade which gives a nice light effect when lit but was actually used for the warmth to be able to get out of the lamp. A nice detail is the ball between the ceiling cap and the shade, which is not only visually pleasant, but it also makes it possible to easy adjust the height of the lamp without removing it from the ceiling. The ceiling cap is made of brass which is a nice detail of the Stilnovo production. The lamp is in fully original and excellent condition for its age, no mention worthy marks to point out here. The lamp uses an E27 screw lamp up to 100 watts.
This lamp is checked in our own atelier, cleaned and is suitable for use in the USA.
