Minimalistic adjustable floor lamp designed and manufactured by Stilnovo, Italy 1950. This floor lamp has a tripod base in black painted metal, it features brass tipped feet which look like the spacecraft landing gear where many lamp designs from the 1950s were based on. The black metal pipe ends in an adjustable brass arm. The shade can rotate as well, and it has 2 longer brass pints on the side of the shade where you can turn it with and adjust its heigh. Half of the shade is in yellow painted aluminium; the other half is in white Perspex. This combination looks very interesting and makes it also possible to use the light reflection in several ways. The brass details on this lamp are not only used for constructional purposes but also have aesthetic value. The lamp is in excellent original condition and preserves a nice and authentic patina from age and usage. The lamp uses an E27 bulb up to 100 watt.
This lamp is checked in our own atelier, cleaned and is suitable for use in the USA. For US usage we could change the plug, or you can get a converter if needed for a floor or table lamp with transformer in it. Feel free to inquire for options.
