Stunning and very elegant Stilnovo Model 232 table lamp designed by Bruno Gatta in Italy, 1955. This lamp is in a very good and original condition and consists of a solid Carrara marble base, brass hardware and white painted aluminum shade. The patina on this lamp is just perfect and there are no heavy marks or signs of usage through the years. The shade is marked with the Stilnovo sticker on the inside and has no dents, the marble has no chips, nor the brass parts have been bent. The brass hardware details are very minimalistic and give it a very spohisticated feel, a designed ahead of it’s time.
Stilnovo was one of the leading light manufacturers from Italy. Together with Arteluce, Arredoluce and Stilux they were on the top of the market, and produced highly sought after models that only keep rising in value. A desk lamp like this, would make a great addition to any interior.
This lamp is checked in our own atelier, cleaned and is suitable for use in the USA. For US usage we could change the plug or you can get a converter if needed for a floor or table lamp with transformer in it. Feel free to inquire for options.
