Very nice and uncommon writing desk made by unknown manufacturer. This desk was documented in the book; Holland in Vorm and it was shown on an advertisement from Océ. This desk is from the 1950s and its in perfect original condition. We recently had the same desk with colors but this one seems to be older and looks like a prototype. Its a but less heavy, other materials are used and the legs are supporting the top differently. The fronts of the drawer units are made of waffle presses metal, grey lacquered. I think this is a very early hand made production before it went into the actual production. Very nice shaped desk, typical Dutch fifties design.
