Sleek and minimalistic coffee table designed by Rudolf Glatzel and produced in Holland by Fristho in 1962. This beautiful table has some signs of usage and is in a good and original condition. The veneered Rosewood top is a nice contrast to the Mondragone marble plate, which is in original condition. The stainless steel tubular frame is connected with a ply rosewood cross. This coffee table is quite unique since the joinery between the different materials that make up the framework look very modern for its time, and is a true signature feature of Glatzels’ work. Fristho was one of the top leading Dutch manufacturers of Midcentury-Modern design and are know for producing top quality furniture with eye for detail. The table being in original condition makes it unique as it is still in good condition with minor traces of use to the rosewood veneered top, this only adds character and can be restored to perfect upon request.
