Ron Arad No Waste aluminium table Hidden 2000

Rare first production dining table designed by Ron Arad for Hidden, Holland 2000. Ron Arad designed a few things for Hidden which was a leading company for contemporary design. They didnt spare on anything and wanted only to be innovative and the best. That is also what caused early bankruptcy in 2002, unfortunately. This table was only made in a production of 8 pieces, we have the original papers of the production numbers. The tables were only stored and never sold in high numbers. This table comes directly from the old stock from Hidden, original catalogue enclosed with the sale. Because Hidden could not produce the table anymore, Ron Arad sold the rights to Moroso who is now producing the table in a cheaper way. The orignal table with the look of it being made of cardboard is extremely rare and a collectors piece. The table is in good condition as said it was not used but only stored. For some reason wear got in the top which is only visible from a certain point of view and impossible to photograph. A very rare and special table for a collector of modern design furniture.

The so called prototype of this table was sold at Pierre Bergé Auctions in Brussels in 2007 for 31.000 Euro. Lot No. 595 Arts Décoratifs mercredi 12 décembre 2007. They said it was never produced, but it was poduced in small numbers, it was just never sold on the market.
