Super rare set of ‘Blub’ lounge chairs model F270 H designed by Pierre Paulin and manufactured by Artifort, Holland 1972. These 2 chairs are rarely offered on the market, according to some collectors and experts, only a handful of these were produced. This is the single chair version from the Blub series designed by Pierre Paulin in 1972. These series were actually designed as a modular seating program for extensive use. The idea was that this could be ordered in any amount of seats, but the design never got really off the ground, anyway not as much as other designs by Pierre Paulin. Makes these Blub series highly wanted for collectores and design lovers. These 2 chairs are in fantastic original condition. The chairs have a white painted plywood structure and fully covered with foam and plastic ball feet. The chairs have beige and light brown upholstered seats which are still original and in good condition. They can be used as they are but they are not perfect. We wanted to keep them fully original as these are museal pieces and the new owner can decided what they want to do with the upholstery. The chairs have a paper label underneath, one of the labels has written nr 7 under it, this is probably the production nr, makes the other chair probably nr 6 or 8. Highly rare set in super condition, collectors items that als seat fantastic!
