Pierre Paulin ABCD sofa set Artifort 1968

Item description

Amazing pair of so called ABCD lounge sofas designed by Pierre Paulin, manufactured by Artifort, Holland 1968. These sofa's have been fully restored with new foam and upholstery exactly as they originally were. We used 3 tone colors, in the Tonus fabric from Kvadrat which was originally on it. Super comfortable lounge sofa's in excellent condition. This is an old edition with the wheels, not the new edition with the cube legs. What's maybe even rarer than the sofa's it self are the 4 anti slide caps that come with these sofa's, marked Artifort on them. You can put them underneath the back wheels so the sofa's wont slide too much, never saw these before. Collectible chairs in museum quality and they seat super comfortable. Very hard to find in a set as these. Pierre Paulin was one of the most important French designers who was attracted by Artifort in the 1960s. He designed most of the Artifort collection of which many models are still in production.

Like all of our upholstered pieces these can also be newly upholstered to your wishes. Ask our upholstery department for a very affordable quote. We only use the best quality foam and materials for all of our items in combination with upholstery to your choice.
