Super rare early pair of model 6135 sconces designed by Pierre Paulin and manufactured by Disderot, France 1959. These beautiful early sconces are made of stainless brushed steel and are in fantastic condition. The inside shows patina on the die cut diffuser and the pull cords are still the original ones. The lamps give nice light and can be used perfectly as bed lamps for example. It gives more light from the bottom as the inside features a die cut diffuser on the inside. Lamps work perfectly, the on/off pull cord also. They use a B22 bayonet socket bulb up to 40 watts. These are priced and sold in a set of 2.
Pierre Paulin was mostly known for his iconic chair’s oeuvre, designed in the 1960s. Early works and lights by this designer are very hard to come by and therefore highly wanted amongst collectors.
This lamp set is checked in our own atelier, cleaned and is suitable for use in the USA. For US usage we could change the plug, or you can get a converter if needed for a floor or table lamp with transformer in it. Feel free to inquire for options.
