The “T22” coffee table is ingeniously constructed with two arcs, each supported by three cylindrical legs, and features a central oval module connected to one arc through a clever sliding mechanism. When the elements are assembled, they form an “eye” shape, a testament to Chapo’s talent for creating instantly recognizable designs. His work consistently emphasized pioneering joinery techniques, focusing on stability, durability, and visual appeal by letting the material and design shine.
One of the standout features of this table is its modularity. The smaller middle section can be freely adjusted or removed, offering endless possibilities for arrangement.
