Excellend finished daybed Model L03 designed by Pierre Chapo and manufactured in his own workshop, France 1963. This daybed has a solid elm structure and on the corners it has the charactaristic wood connections where Pierre Chapo was known for. The L03 series is a daybed minimal designed, it was unique for its kind and the only decorative elements are the constructive corners. The daybed is equipped with two drawers that offer a lot of storage space underneath the bed. A fantastic design, typical for the work of Pierre chapo in very nice original patinated elm wood, aged over time. And that patina makes it even more beautiful than how it once was when it was made. The mattress is included with the bed, its recently upholstered in an off white woven fabric with nice structure and soft texture.
