Stunning set of 8 so called ‘Chlacc’ dining chairs model S45A designed by Pierre Chapo and manufactured in his own workshop, France 1979. In the late 1970s Pierre Chapo’s reseatch took a new direction. He presented on of the most eccomplished designer chairs of the 20th century. The S45 / Chlacc chair, the name of the patented manufacturing process for this type of furniture. These fantastic crafted chairs are made of solid elm wood and are in superb original condition. The chairs breath craftsmanship. These chairs are probably the best example of the great craftsmanship and joint woodwork solutions Chapo had in his designs.

Pierre Chapo is amongst the most uprising designers from the French soil. Catching up with the renowed works by Charlotte Perriand as the quality is very similar and the style very close to the designs by Perriand.
