Very nice ceramic tiled coffee table designed by Jules Dewaele for Pia Manu and manufactured by Amphora, Belgium 1965. This table has a chrome plated tubular frame, the top is made of molded concrete layed in with ceramic tiles designed by Jules Dewaele. The ceramic parts were made in the Atelier from Amphora. Pia Mau had a coorporation with Amphora because they were specialized in ceramics, they had the factory for it. The table is impressed PIA MANU on the side. Very nice graphic composition and neutral color pattern with mainly black ceramic tiles, combined with bronze, blue and green tiles. Beautiful table in very good condition.
