This very nice set with possibillity up to 6 MP93 lounge chairs, designed and manufactured by Percival Lafer MP in Brazil in 1972, represents a rare and exquisite example of mid-century modern design. Percival Lafer was one of Brazil’s most prominent furniture designers, known for producing high-quality, large-scale furniture while maintaining a strong sense of craftsmanship. However, the MP93 model is less common and especially hard to find in its original, well-preserved condition, making this set particularly special.

The chairs feature a distinctive, bulky, and voluptuous form, exuding comfort and style. Their geometric legs, crafted from solid jatoba wood, add a refined constructional detail that enhances the visual appeal of the design. The seat is made of dark brown leather, which hangs elegantly from sturdy canvas straps, which remain discreetly hidden beneath the leather, contributing to the chair’s clean, minimalist look. A nice detail is the leather belts on the seats which appear to hold everything together, where in fact this was only an aesthetci addition to the design.

The chairs are in very good original condition, with only minimal patina from years of usage that adds character to their already timeless design.
