Very nice and unique dining table designed by Paul Kingma and manufactured in his own workshop in the Netherlands in 1979. This table has a black multi-leg base that makes it look elegant and less bulky. The tabletop has beautiful features like the orange/red square with a green tile detail. Or the group of pebbles that add a nice contrast, especially against the darker stone. It’s one of those tables you can keep staring at, and every time you do, you notice something new. It’s like a piece of art with all the colour hues like orange, green, yellow, rust-brown, There’s a brass tag on the tabletop that says Kingma ’79. If you want, you can use it as a coffee table by swapping out the base for another/adjusted one. Inquire for options.
Kingma’s love for nature shines through in this table. He traveled extensively to collect unique materials like stone, metal, concrete, brass, copper, glass, and ceramic. Each table is a one-of-a-kind piece, handcrafted with great care and precision, showcasing Kingma’s dedication to creating extraordinary furniture that connects with the beauty of the natural world. Born in The Hague, Paul Kingma studied art in Arnhem before training at the Rijks Akademie [State Academy of Fine Arts] in Amsterdam and the Royal Academy of Arts in London. Over the course of his career, he was commissioned to create several sculptures for public spaces in Dutch cities such as Utrecht, Eindhoven, & Amersfoort.
