Nice solid travertin coffee table with cross inlay designed and made by Paul Kingma, Holland 1978. The table is made of solid travertin and has an inlayed cross pattern with brass tiles and mineral stones. The table has a very nice brutal shape, its also fairly heavy as it is solid travertin. Its in good original condition only normal wear along the edges and natural craquelé in the travertin. This example is not signed but it was a set with a rectangular table which was signed, probably because it was in the same order only 1 of the tables was signed.
We have been working with Paul Kingma’s work for several years now and prices have increased a lot, where the offer on these tables lowered. Especially the nice early undamaged examples are hard to find. With this in your home you will have something nobody has!
