Paul Kingma side table set Holland 1980

Rare and unusual set of 3 side tables designed and made by Paul Kingma, Holland ca. 1980.  These tables are unsigned but came directly from the Kingma family, they were used outdoors on the terrace. Small side tables are very hard to find, in the years we are working with the designs by Paul Kingma we have never seen them this small. These have fantastic steel bent frames, green painted. Very nice composition of marble, stones but also quite minimal. Probably because the bases have a lot going on he decided to keep the tops mode simple. Very nice and unique set of tables in very good condition. Tables are priced and sold in a set of 3.

Paul Kingma was well known for his architectural tables that pay a tribute to the riches of Nature by traveling extensively in search of rare materials, whether raw or industrially produced. He combines recourse to materials used in architecture like stone, metal and concrete, with rich varied materials as brass, copper, glass or ceramic. All his tables are unique one off productions and when he got famous, most were special client’s orders.

We have been working with Paul Kingma’s work for several years now and prices have increased a lot, where the offer on these tables lowered. Especially the nice early undamaged examples are hard to find. With this in your home you will have something unique and a statement piece nobody has!
