Rare white oval coffee table designed by Paul Kingma and handcrafted in his workshop in The Netherlands in 1999. These white tables by Kingma are quite rare because he only made a few of them. The great thing is, they easily blend into any room because of their neutral tone. This particular table is in excellent condition, with no significant marks to mention. It features a solid concrete top with a metal inner structure, supported by two C-shaped metal bases that you can arrange however you like. The top is decorated with different kinds of stones, minerals and metal elements. In an abstract form where Kingma was known for. You’ll find the KINGMA ’99 brass tag on the top, indicating its authenticity.
Kingma’s love for nature shines through in this table. He traveled extensively to collect unique materials like stone, metal, concrete, brass, copper, glass, and ceramic. Each table is a one-of-a-kind piece, handcrafted with great care and precision, showcasing Kingma’s dedication to creating extraordinary furniture that connects with the beauty of the natural world. Born in The Hague, Paul Kingma studied art in Arnhem before training at the Rijksakademie [State Academy of Fine Arts] in Amsterdam and the Royal Academy of Arts in London. Over the course of his career, he was commissioned to create several sculptures for public spaces in Dutch cities such as Utrecht, Eindhoven, & Amersfoort.
