Very nice sober and early example of a Paul Kingma coffee table. Paul Kingma was well known for his architectural tables that pay a tribute to the riches of Nature by travelling extensively in search of rare materials, whether raw or industrially produced. He combines resources to materials used in architecture like stone, metal and concrete, with rich varied materials as brass, copper, glass or ceramic. All his tables are unique one off productions and when he got famous, most were client’s orders. This is a very nice example with sober stones tiles combined with grey stone. The table has a black painted metal slipper frame. This is a very early &https://mmd.pixeldustlab.nl/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/demo-img.jpg39;62 table as he started making table in &https://mmd.pixeldustlab.nl/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/demo-img.jpg39;61. This one is marked Kingma 1962 at the back and has its hand print. In good and original condition. Monumental table and work of art combined.
