Nice and unique coffee table made by Paul Kingma, Holland 1998. Paul Kingma was well known for his architectural tables that pay a tribute to the riches of Nature by traveling extensively in search of rare materials, whether raw or industrially produced. He combines recourse to materials used in architecture like stone, metal and concrete, with rich varied materials as brass, copper, glass or ceramic. All his tables are unique one off a kind productions and when he got famous, most were direct client’s orders. This is a very nice example with sober stones tiles combined with brown slate. This is probably one of his last tables made as he started making tables in '61 and stopped in 1999. This one is marked Paul Kingma 1998 in a brass inlay. The table is in good and original condition. Monumental table and work of art combined.
