A truly impeccable ‘DU03’ sideboard designed by Cees Braakman and produced by Pastoe, Holland in 1958. This sideboard is in a stunning and original condition, in fact it is the nicest example we’ve come accross in the past 15 years. The wood grain runs vertically over the front side, in a beautiful mirrored pattern, where these series use to have a more quiet veneer.  The honey colored finish of the wood looks very good with the black details of the framing and handles and have a fantastic original well kept patina from age. The ‘Japanse serie’ or ‘Japanese series’ by Braakman and Pastoe are highly sought after pieces and a perfect combination of Dutch modernism with hints of Japanese furniture designs.  This DU03 would make a perfect opportunity to obtain and would look great in any interior as this is a timeless piece od mid century modern furniture.
