Very nice modernist credenza model DB02 designed by Cees Braakman and manufactured by Pastoe UMS, Holland 1954. This birch wooden credenza has 2 double foldable doors with shelves and 4 drawers behind. This credenza has plenty of storage space behind. Typically finished with the famous bentwood drawers and bent legs that were originally designed by Edward Wormley who inspired Braakman for this design when he went to the USA for his internship. This sideboard was designed with minimal resources in the 50s, just after the war everything needed to be cheap, but finished as good as possible. Its very difficult to find these sideboards in good original condition as this one.
Very good, original
