Splendid pair of night cabinets designed and manufactured by Paolo Buffa, Italy 1950s. These beautiful shaped night cabinets are made of a rosewood veneered structure and have burlwooden doors which are a fantastic contrast with the dark rosewood. Especially the burlwooden veneer is a true work of art if you ask me. The cabinets were restored at some point and some small repairs are visible, visible on the detailed shots on the pictures. This is for a very nice set of 2 large sized night cabinets with a folding door and brass door knob. Plenty of storage space inside and besides the fact that they are beautiful, they are practical as well. This is a typical style after the Italian Art Deco period, when Italian design was growing towards the modernism and minimalism. These cabinets show characteristics from the period the came from and also from the period they were approaching. The cabinets are prices and sold in a set of 2.
