Stunning large writing desk or desk table designed by Osvaldo Borsani and manufactured by Tecno, Italy 1954. The table has aluminium tripod legs for the stabillity and the top is made of walnut veneer with a black leather inlay. The black leather has a nice patina from age and usage. The wooden part is fully refinished and looks perfect. The tables is signed with the Tecno sticker on the legs. Osvaldo Borsani was one of the most important designers Italy has known, he designed a fantastic and large ouevre full of ground breaking designs for that period. His designs are highly sought after and wanted amongst vintage lovers and collectors.
Top is refinished with high quality UV protection lacquer with preservation of authenticity. Also completely structural checked and ready to use.
