Iconic lounge chair model P40 designed by Osvaldo Borsani and manufactured by Tecno, Italy 1954. This world known lounge chair is a true icon, which was produced for many years as its thát popular. This is the second version which has some differences with the 1st edition. This chair has a bit more functions, there are wheels at the back legs, and the back rest can be made longer. These are good improvements compared to the first edition, especially as it makes is easier to move the chair. And offers more comfort for longer people. The black painted tubular metal frame is in very good condition, it has the original Tecno emblem on it and the chair was newly upholstered in red Gabriel fabric which is very close to the original fabric where this chair was presented in, in 1954. The chair won a signe d’or for its technical features, it was an important design for the modern Italian design movement. Super comfortable multi adjustable lounge chair, arm rests are often cracked, these are still in perfect condition too.
