Nice set of 6 typical Danish iconic dining chairs, model 71 designed by Niels Moller and manufactured by J.L. Møller Mobelfabrik, Denmark 1951. These chairs are made of hardwood and are newly upholstered with a flat bouclé upholstery in grey/greige. This upholstery feels very comfortable and soft and because the upholstery has an irregular texture in the fabric, it is perfect for a dining room chair which is a catchier piece for stains. The structure of the frames looks very minimal, but the curved back rest draws all the attention to it, that is also the nicest part as it has the beautiful wood grain most clearly visible. This lightly curved back also provides comfort to the back which is important for a good dining chair. The chairs look quite fragile, but the Danish are known for their strong and sturdy woodworking skills, also for these chairs which are very strong and sturdy. The chairs are in very good original condition with normal but minimal wear from age and usage. Priced and sold in a set of 6.
