Very nice and highly decorative so called ‘Stalactites’ chandelier designed by Nanny Still and manufactured by Raak Amsterdam, Holland 1960. This lamp was designed by Nanny still who designed this for Raak Amsterdam in the early 1960s. Nanny Still was one of the most important modern Finnish designers of glass and ceramics. She was attracted by Raak to design a series of lights, eventually she only designed the Stalactites but it was a great design. The lamp is in excellent condition, only the dark blue chalice was professionally glued, the edge was loose but since this is exactly on top of the metal ring its not visible. The lamp gives very nice warm light when lit and uses 7x E14 bulbs up to 40 watt.
This lamp is checked, cleaned and is suitable for use in the USA. For US usage you would only have to change the plug or get a holiday converter if needed for a floor or table lamp.
