Rare pair of large wall lamps model 1943 designed by Max Ingrand and manufactured by Fontana Arte in Italy in 1961. These lamps have a beautiful form consisting of two elements of glass making a diamond shape. These shades of glass are etched which gives an amazing light effect. The sides have a facet cut. The socket carries four bulbs but when lit it looks like they are doubled. The glass elements are held together by a brass connector in a wide M-shape. The wall structure is made of a black finished metal structure which holds the glass elements. The lamps can also be used as ceiling lamps due to the flush mounts. Kindly note that the lamps are priced and sold in a set of 2.
