Spectacular pair of so called ‘Dahlia’ sconces designed by Max Ingrand and manufactured by Fontana Arte, Italy 1954. These wall lamps have a solid brass wall arm and a bent glass shades in green and transparent glass. For me this is one of the nicest examples in this color combination. The lamps look like candles when lit and give very nice sperical light. The lamps are in super origignal condition, the glass is in excellent condition without chips or cracks. Super rare wall lamps by Fontana Arte made by the best designer they had. The lamps use an E14 bulb up to 40 watt each.
Fontana Arte was one of the most innovative light manufacturers from Italian ground. With Max Ingrand as main designer who influenced a lot of the path that company took during the years. Max Ingrand was a glass artist, he had a clear and unique vision which is visible in all his designs.
