Beautiful pendant lamp model 1995 designed by Max Ingrand and manufactured by Fontana Arte, Italy 1960. This pendant lamp has a very stylish and classy, yet brutalist look due to the use of high-quality solid materials, but brute finish in the cut glass diffuser shade. The structure of the lamps is made of brass which is nickel plated and the diffuser shade is made of cut crystal glass. The lamp gives a very special three-dimensional atmospheric look due to the facetted cut glass diffuser. The pendant is in fully original condition with an amazing patina to the nickel-plated structure, which can be cleaned to shiny if wanted but we preferred the original look this lamp got over time. Lamp uses an E27 bulb up to 75 watt each and it is dimmable. This lamp is checked in our own atelier, it was superficial cleaned and is suitable for use in the USA.
Fontana Arte was known for its outstanding quality lights and was only sold to the avant-garde from Italy. Also, because it was too expensive for regular earning people these lamps are rare. Makes the lights from Fontana Arte highly wanted and sought after on the market already for years.
