Iconic desk one of only 40 made designed by Marzio Cecchi and manufactured by Studio Most, Italy 1968. This stainless-steel desk has a cantilevered tapering top with curved edge and circular cut-out base where you can leave your feet. The desk is heavy as it’s made of thick stainless steel, and this was closed all around. The desk is one from only 40 made and was purchased by a boutique store in Brescia in the 1970s where it was still in use up to a few years ago when the boutique closed. Because of the importance of this original piece, we wanted to keep the patina intact and chose not to clean or polish it to preserve its original age-related wear and look. It’s actually pretty nice and characteristic but it is possible to polish the piece back to its original state, as its solid steel the polishing is fairly easy. The desk can be used as desk, console or shop counter. Its anyway a fantastic iconic piece and one of the most recognized designs by Marzio Cecchi, one of the most important Italian designers of his era.
