Highly cosy so called ‘Bambole’ 2-seater sofa designed by Mario Bellini and manufactured by B&B Italia, Italy 1973. This sofa was designed in 1973 and turned quickly to one of B&B Italia’s best sellers. The curvy and puffy design was perfect for the time it was produced in. So, many people liked and bought it, mainly because of its super comfort. The curvy lines and organic shape give it a very puffy look. This specific one has its original chocolate brown buffalo leather upholstery which has a fantastic patina. The nice thing about buffalo leather is that all parts of the leather age differently, which gives the sofa another dimension. The foam is still very soft and firm. This is for sure one of the comfiest sofas around. So, besides the fact that is looks amazing from all sides, it’s a daily user too. It is signed with the B&B Italia stamp on the bottom of the sofa.
The leather is reconditioned with a leather care product special for vintage leather. To give the leather some strength, colour, and protection again after many years of usage.
