Very nice one off unusual shaped coffee table designed and made by Marcus Kingma, Holland 1993. Marcus was the son of Paul Kingma who started making these tables in the 1960s. Marcus helped Paul making table at the end of his career and eventually started making tables on his own during the 1980s and 1990s. This example is a very special one with a new technique of using the legs for these tables. These brass legs stick through the table which looks really nice. The table is made of concrete and has slate and brass inlays. The table is marked M.Kingma ’93 on the top. Nice collectible table, unique one off table which is a work of art on its own. This table is for sure one of the most unique versions we have ever seen with nice brutalist shapes.
We have been working with Marcus and Paul Kingma’s work for several years now and prices have increased a lot, where the offer on these tables lowered. Especially the nice early undamaged examples are hard to find. With this in your home you will have something nobody has.
