Magneto floor lamp by Henk Fillekes for Artiforte Holland 1954

This timeless design never seems to bore as every time we have it in stock, the design amazes me, and thats why this will be my personal favorite, ever! This lamp is called the ‘Magneto’ and the name says it all, this super lamp designed by Henk Fillekes and manufactured byArtiforte from 1954-1958. This rare and beautiful lamp was produced for a short period and not that many were made, these were hand assembled and this was not a big company, this lamp is from the starting period by Artiforte in the mid-1950s. The lamp has a very nice solid metal tripod foot and this foot is connected to a long arm which is fixed with a round shaped magnet, that’s where the name comes frome; Magneto. This lamp is fully adjustable, because of the ingenious use of the round magnet, super stable and in seconds it can be changed into numerous different positions, for reading, uplight, etc. The foot is lacquered in black, the arm is nickel plated metal and the conuter weight and shade are black as well. The magnet still works perfect and you can use it in many different positions. The lamp is in amazing original condition with only very minor wear from age and usage for the chrome arm and shade. This will be a centerpiece of attention in any home, interior or office.

All our lights are checked, cleaned and are suitable for use in the USA. For US usage you would only have to change the plug or get a holiday converter.
