M. Vuillermoz Polyhedron bar cabinet France 1960

Absolutely mesmerizing polyhedron shaped bar cabinet designed by M. Vuillermoz and manufactured by Dambrine, France 1960. This unique shaped bar cabinet is very characteristic for its age. It is an art object and piece of design combined. The beautiful, shaped bar part is made of mahogany which still has its original colour. When you open the 3 foldable elements you will find 3 brass plated trays and a circular bottle holder, to store beverages and use the trays to put glasses on. The piece is detailed with brass plated hardware and has rubber wheels to easily move the bar around. The polyhedron construction is being held by an a-symmetrical shaped tripod frame which is the opposite of the polyhedron shape and consists only of horizontal and vertical lines. This doesn’t only bring stability to the piece; it also contributes to the piece’s design and aesthetics. The beautiful artistic shape and unique look will make this piece a centrepiece in any room where it will be displayed. The piece is in very good original condition, with minor wear and fading to the brass hardware, which is visible on the pictures. But this only adds character to the item and gives the piece an authentic look.
