Beautiful chest of drawers in macassar wood, designed by Luciano Frigerio and manufactured by Frigerio di Desio in 1972. It is made of Macassar veneered wood and the grain on the veneer is absolutely strikingly symmetrical. The condition of the cabinet is good and a few marks of use can be found, which is normal due to it’s age. There are nine drawers that are quite deep. The wood itself looks very great and has a beautiful deep and dark pattern running all over it. Pieces by Luciano Frigerio are known for their high quality and detail, and this cabinet is no exception. Nice example of Italian design of that period, and a great addition to any interior.
