Superb cabinet with the best of both worlds designed by Louis Paolozzi and manufactured by René Godfrid, France 1955. This super shaped dry bar cabinet was designed by Italian designer Louis Paolozzi, which is clearly visible at the style. The material use was typical French for that time, the use of oak, mahogany and laminated wood as this was designed for a French company. So this Italian designed French manufactured cabinet shows best of both worlds, the Italian designed cabinet with French materials. Stunning piece with a sliding door with die cut hole pattern at the left and on the right a black laminated folding top. The legs and top shelf are made of solid mahogany and the structure is made of oak wood. Very nice combination of materials and in very good original condition with only very minor wear to the surface, but all preserving a nice patina.
