Stunning pair of sculptural lounge chairs designed and manufactured by Liceu de Artes e Officios, Brazil 1960. These chairs have a super shaped sculptural shaped structure made of solid cocobolo rosewoof which is fully refinished. The chairs have green cushions which can be changed to fabric to your own wishes. These chairs have stunning sculptural shape and a fantastic detail is the slightly bent feet at the back. The chairs have a slat supported back rest and wings on the side of the frame. These chairs are elegant and have a luxurious, unequalled look. With influences from Scandinavian designs but completely unique none the less. Liceu de Artes e Oficios (1873) is a school, museum, workplace and crafts workshop in one. It was founded in order to promote Brazilian culture and design to the public. These chairs are very hard to find, comfortable and diamonds to meet the eye.
Fully refinished in our own atelier with high quality UV protection lacquer with preservation of authenticity. Also completely structural checked and ready to use.
