Rare and absolutely stunning pair of Brazillian lounge chairs made by Liceu de Artes e Oficios in Brazil, 1960. These chairs have a beautiful patina and are in a very good and original condition, no significant signs of heavy usage or wear can be found. The joinery is very well made and solid. The frames are made of solid jacaranda with striking veins running through the sculptural woodwork. The upholstered grey-blue cushions are still original and in good condition, and really compliment the frame.

Since pieces by Liceu de Artes were made in small series, these models are quite hard to come accross, especially a pair in this condition. A rare change to obtain and invest in a well kept surviving set from the golden era of Brazillian design. These chairs are sold and priced in a set of 2.
