Beautiful large sculpture made by Leonaro Zanardello, Nove Italy 1978. Zanardello worked with ceramics for a very short time, making his pieces super rare and hard to come by. His artworks were featured in the important book “Concorso Internazionale della Ceramica, 1978” on page 66, a big deal for talented artists. This sculpture is stunning! It’s big, has a natural shape with holes that play with light, and a rough surface that gives off a volcanic feel. The beautiful orange/brown color adds to its overall appeal. It’s hand-signed at the bottom, making it extra special. Highly decorative piece to be put on a pedestal or on the floor.
