Lella e Massimo Vignelli Metafora coffee table Casigliani 1979

Playful coffee table model Metafora designed by Lella e Massimo Vignelli and manufactured by Casigliani, Italy 1979. The tabls has 4 different shaped feet which support a thick glass top. The bases have 4 shapes and 4 different materials, white pyramid of carrara marble, black square of marquina marble, round ball of mondragona marble and the cylinder or roman travertin. This table is in original condition, the cylinder has a slight crack but not through, visible on the pictures. The other pieces are all in very good condition, especially the white pyramid is oftem damaged as this is the most fragile one. Glass top is in very good condition only minor surface wear. You can place the 4 elements however you want cause it doesnt matter how you lay them, the height will remain the same.
