Fantastic set of 6 so called T chairs, designed by William Katavolos, Ross Littell, and Douglas Kelley in 1952 and manufactured in Italy by ICF De Padova. These chairs have metal frames that are chrome plated and made of metal tubes, with a black T-shaped frame holding them together. The chairs also have seats made of amazing cognac leather that has a beautiful patinated look. The leather is still strong and feels great to sit on. These chairs are famous because they have multiple T-shapes in them, which is why they’re called T-chairs. The leather sling seats are attached at three spots – the back and both sides – and they are clamped between the horizontal part of the T. If you look closely at the black part of the frame, you can see another T shape. These chairs are not easy to find in their original condition, which makes them even more special. The T-chairs by Katavolos, Littell, and Kelley are a wonderful example of creative design that’s both comfortable and stylish. Priced and sold in a set of 6.
The leather is reconditioned with a leather care product special for vintage leather. To give the leather some strength, colour, and protection again after many years of usage.
