Beautiful and rare so called ‘Petalas’ coffee table designed by recently passed away designer Jorge Zalszupin, manufactured in his own company L’Atelier, Brazil 1959. The Petalas table was inspirede by a folded paper structure of origami. This table is composed of 8 “petalas” of layered jacaranda Brazilian rosewood on a metal round structure, together they form an octagonal shape. Fantastic shaped large coffee table which shows the beautiful grain of the Jacaranda and remarkable dark flames, which centralize in the middle.. The wood is fuly refinished and in excellent condition again, very nice warm and dark color.
Very good, refinished
