Not often does one of Johan Bertils’ designs come up for sale, but hereby there is one beautiful example currently available. A stunning and very comfortable ‘Corset’ lounge chair made in Sweden by Swed-Form in 1970. The chair looks very minimalistic and is a fine combination of traditional scandinavian crafstmanship, mixed with chrome tubular framing which makes it look spage age. It has that typical scandinavian soul embedded, due to the low and wide stance and the use of leather, canvas and details like buttons and lacing. The overall condition is very good, and the leather has survived the test of time really well. Leather has been reconditioned with a leather care product meant specifically for vintage leather, to give the leather some strength, color and protection again after many years of usage.
